JULIEN BIZALION

Julien started Bizalion Solutions in 2017 with one goal in mind – problem solving. Whether it be a ground up restaurant opening, thorough evaluation and overhaul of an existing operation, or consultation for an already successful business model that needs tweaking, there is a fundamental adage which Julien lives by – Think like an owner.

Julien got his start in the industry at the Standard Hotel in 2009, and quickly worked his way up to Food and Beverage Manager. From there, he was hired at 1OAK as Assistant General Manager and in less than a year’s time, was promoted to GM. Shortly after, he was hired by Mondrian Soho as F&B Manager, and was responsible for running two separate venues, and opening two more during his time there. He then spent the next four years at The Surf Lodge in Montauk; first, as deck manager, and in four brief months, was promoted to Director of Operations and Property GM. In his first full year in this roll, his leadership led to a 30% increase in sales over the previous season, and then 20% increases per year thereafter. Since his time at the Surf Lodge, Bizalion Solutions has opened five restaurants from the ground up, consulted on numerous pop-up events, and restructured several operations.

Julien has a wealth of knowledge in hospitality. His track record, reputation, and work ethic speak for themselves. He has a consistent background of running massive, high volume, and high pressure operations with great success. The knowledge that his experience has brought, has helped develop Julien into the thoughtful and methodical Project Leader who is now at the helm of Bizalion Solutions.

“Think like an owner – the phrase speaks volumes. It is the mantra of my company, and everyone that works along side of me. It is not an obscure or abstract phrase – it is intentional - and it is meant to show the care and thought that will go into your project. It demonstrates the devotion that we will bring to you, as your personal advisors, partners, and friends. It is the adage we live by.”
